New profile – Junior Reception Vulnerability Expert – as an answer to current on the ground needs.

The 4th session is again covering a new profile – Junior Reception Vulnerability Expert. The change of the profile was a response to on the ground needs. Additionally the new profile might contribute to alleviating at least some of the challenges caused by a massive influx of refugees after Russia’s armed aggression on Ukraine as this profile is directly related to functioning of refugee centres.
In order to maximise the session results and in direct relation to the selected profile the programme included site visits, apart from in-class sessions delivered by the European Union Agency for Asylum trainers supported by PL experts. The participants, trainers and project staff were hosted by the Commander of the Border Guard Post in Terespol, where they were familiarised with Border Guards proceedings in relation to border management and application for asylum as well as with border infrastructure on the border of Poland with Belarus. Another visited site was the Asylum Seekers’ Reception Centre in Biała Podlaska with adjoining Epidemic screening facility (the epidemiological filter).
19 experts from 4 countries completes the session and are well prepared for deployment as experts under EUAA support. We thank the participants for a hard work and congratulate on the completion of the course. We wish you a quick deployment!
