Our project supports deployment of trained experts

On the 20th September the European Project Implementation Centre organised a one day meeting in Warsaw at the premises of EPIC. The meeting gathered chief accountants and other financial staff from Polish regional governmental offices, Ministry of Interior and Administration, Office for Foreigners and EPIC. It was dedicated to a guidance and exchange of views and experience in relation to delegation of Polish public administration employees to support missions organised and financed by the European Union Agency for Asylum. The Project Content Assistant actively advises and supports the training graduates and delegating bodies on nomination and deployment rules. Financial staff of Polish bodies delegating experts, having little or no experience with mission deployment, had an opportunity to clarify the related rules, both Polish and European. Participants were acquainted by the project staff with the aims of the project, deployment procedures and the EUAA financing rules. Chief accountants from OfF and EPIC presented solutions functioning in these institutions regarding travel and per diems for staff participating in the missions. The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss any query about the mission deployment and its financial settlement.
